Casa Pardal is one of the most beautiful and relaxed colivings I’ve visited so far. My partner, our dog and I stayed for about a month, and it truly felt like home. Monica and James are wonderful people, and we immediately fell in love with their dog Neli too. The whole place has such a warm, welcoming atmosphere and is especially perfect if you’re travelling with a pet. The surroundings are absolutely breathtaking, with Montserrat right on your doorstep. If you’re looking for a peaceful place surrounded by nature, where you can slow down and feel at home, Casa Pardal is a very special place. We loved our time there and would happily come back. ❤️

The stay at Casa Pardal was my first experience in a coliving - coworking, and I totally recommend it. The house and the surroundings of the Fortesa are totally welcoming. Casa Pardal is the perfect space to be able to work while finding the calm and tranquility of rural life, and at the same time to meet and share moments and experiences with people from all over the world. For me, Casa Pardal has not only been a place to work, but an experience of coexistence, nature, activities and disconnection. You will hardly find better hosts than Neli, Mònica and James! I'm born and raised in the US (NYC) and have extensively traveled throughout my life. I was in the midst of planning a 3 month trip to Spain (July. - October) and was struggling to find affordable places to stay for a longer visit. I did not want to participate in using Airbnb for ethical reasons and hotel prices are exorbitant at this time of year. I was also traveling solo and didn't necessarily want to be alone the entire time. So, I did some research looking for an alternative and I stumbled across Casa Pardal and the concept of "coliving". In the US, I had never heard of coliving, so it was a complete unknown for me and I definitely felt uncertain at first. I am writing this review to let other folks (especially those from the US) know that it was one of the best decisions I have made in my life and I am already looking forward to coming back. I can't recommend this place enough. Monica and James are some of the kindest people I've ever met and truly pour their hearts and souls into running this place. The surroundings and landscape are gorgeous and the house itself has a charm that you just can't find in the US. It felt like a movie set and the remoteness of the location was a welcome respite from the chaos of city life. In addition to enjoying the location and surroundings, I made great friends with the other "co-livers" and felt like I was in close community the entire time. In addition to working, we ate communal meals, watched the World Cup and movies together, we hung out by the pool in the backyard, we went on long walks and we took short trips into the Pyrenees for hiking and kayaking. People would also bring their pets, so I had the absolute pleasure of being surrounded by happy go lucky dogs, adorable cats and of course all of the outdoor wildlife you encounter while walking through these gorgeous hills. I'm a film editor and director, so I also brought a lot of equipment with me for work. Monica and James made sure I had a personal area to set up and even provided an additional TV monitor to make work much easier. I was only supposed to stay for 2 weeks, but I was so comfortable that I ended up extending my stay another week. Yet again, Monica and James went out of their way to make sure they could provide me with a comfortable room at the very last minute. I was truly blown away by this experience and I'm so glad that I went out of my comfort zone to try something so different from the typical traveling experiences I've had in the past. I HIGHLY recommend that you book a stay at Casa Pardal if you are looking for an "off the beaten path" travel experience that expands your views on how to travel, especially while working.

I loved staying here with my partner for six weeks! The chill vibe is great for working on projects and falling into a healthy routine. It was a nice mix of activities and downtime. I loved exploring the small villages and seeing what rural Spain life is like! The house, garden, and surroundings are so beautiful. Staying here was a great way to make new friends as a couple while travelling. Monica and James are great hosts! I miss this place and walking the country roads with Neli!
