I spent a magical month at Playworking - nestled in a sleepy little hamlet, the house is like a retreat away from the world, with incredible views of the mountains and world class beaches a bike ride away. The Wifi is good and there are plenty of spaces to work. In your free time, choose between exploring nearby Kotor, the mountains of Lovcen National Park, or the incredible beaches of Lustica peninsula. As a house we did a sunset paddle boarding session and many trips to the nearby Bunkers for sunset. I met so many lovely people and Jeffery is great - he's an attentive host who will go out of his way to help you and make sure you have everything you need. I loved my time here so much I'm planning on going back next year!

A true coliving experience with the added amazing bonuses of SUP, kayaking, swimming at remote beaches and rides to and from the airport. Though the space is in a remote village, you have access to bikes to get to the nearest grocery store or on foot (about 20 mins). As well you can cycle or walk to nearby beaches Horizonti and Movida, about 20-30 mins each. There will be an uphill on the way back though. Make sure you bring mosquito repellent if you’re there in the summer months (can only really speak for June). Strong WiFi, kitchen with all the amenities, a BBQ, outdoor pizza oven, free laundry and more importantly great group of people who are all my friends now :) The cherry on the cake, you’ll be surrounded by 2 friendly doggos. Thanks, Playworking team.

The place provides you with countless opportunities for outdoor activities like SUP, kayaking, hiking, cycling and yoga. The views that I've experienced in that area were stunning. On top of that I've met a lot of fantastic people - we had a lot of fun together!

My stay was not terrible but I wanted to point out some major inconsistencies to hopefully guide others: -This house is located at least a 20 minutes walk to the nearest “town” and grocery store. I was able to have use of the owner’s car during my stay but I’m told this is not the norm. Not sure how someone else would get around if not for Taxis which can be expensive. -The owner has two dogs who stay at the house. While they are friendly, they do live in the common areas and shed over all the furniture. The dogs were not mentioned anywhere on the coliving website. -While I wasn’t expecting a 5 star hotel, nothing ever seemed totally clean. All of the linens I was given were stained and/ or ripped. -If you are coming in the off season, be aware that it will be cold and the house doesn’t have indoor heating. There is a wood burning stove on the 2nd floor but it doesn’t really radiate heat. -It should be noted that the owner’s young son also lives in the house. He wakes up very early even on weekends and uses the common areas of the house. This was a little jarring for me as I like to sleep in. -In the off season there are no activities going on at the house. I was expecting yoga per the website but that wasn’t an option.

Playworking was an amazing experience, we were super lucky on the group of people we had staying with us. We stayed here for two weeks and we did a bunch of activities, stand up paddle, hikes, kayaking, international dinners, pizzas on the firewood oven and a lot of trips. It was really nice!
