a month agoI originally only booked for 1 month at Balu and ended up staying for 4 months! All because of the wonderful hosts Joe and Diana, the lovely rooms and facilities, location and community you find at Balu. It’s kept clean and looked after, there are plenty of nice places to work; the rooftop is a great bonus and the vibe is homely. Thank you Joe and Diana- i will always come back here!

a month agoMy home away from home in Medellin. When I first arrived, I was taken aback because this place feels like someone's home. It's SO cozy here. Diana and Joe work hard to ensure everyone in the space is comfortable and safe. If you're looking to meet cool people and be in the heart of Laureles, I can't recommend this place enough.

a month agoReally loved the atmosphere at Balu, it is not a very big Coliving, but this is perfect for connecting more with the others. The location is close to La Setenta, which is good because you find all kind of stores around you. The only negative is that this street is more of a party place(which can be positive if you are looking for that)

2 months agoI didn't stay here, but I know it's a great place. I had the opportunity to join one of their running and hiking groups with lots of people. If you come to Medellín, I recommend you visit it.

2 months agoI had such a great stay at Balu ! The people and the place were amazing, making it feel like an home rather than just a place to stay. The common spaces and rooms were beautiful and comfortable, but what really made the difference were Diana and Joe. They’re so kind, welcoming, and always happy to help, whether it’s something in the house or just advice about the city. Couldn’t recommend this place more. I’ll definitely miss it!
