I recently stayed in Montino for a month and loved it. The owners are friendly, they enshrine good atmosphere, other guests were nice too and there was a truly sense of community. The place is suitable for digital nomads, for people who want to take vacation but be able to work remotely, for solo travellers as well as for couples, and just anyone who wants to spend time in the mountains away from the heat in the summer.

This was my second summer staying at Montino Coliving, and I already know I’ll be coming back. What makes this place so special is its amazing community of digital nomads and remote workers. It’s incredibly easy to connect with like-minded people, and you feel welcome from the very first day. The owners are some of the kindest people I’ve met. They have created a truly magical place where you instantly feel at home. The beautiful old house is located about 30 minutes above Lake Maggiore, surrounded by nature. The large green garden is perfect for relaxing, and you can start hiking through the forest right from the doorstep. Whether it’s hiking, cycling, enjoying the breathtaking views over the lake, or taking trips to Lake Maggiore and exploring the Borromean Islands, there’s always something to do. Montino is also an excellent place to work. The internet is fast and reliable, making remote work effortless. One of my favorite parts is the daily community dinner, where two guests cook for everyone each evening. It’s a wonderful tradition that brings everyone together and creates a real sense of community. Pets are also very welcome, which makes the experience even better. If you’re looking for an inspiring place to work remotely, connect with amazing people, and enjoy nature, I can’t recommend Montino enough. It’s much more than a coliving space. It’s a home away from home, and I can’t wait to come back.

I’ve now stayed at Montino Coliving for the second time, and coming back truly felt like returning home. The hosts have created a very special place where remote workers can immediately feel comfortable and at ease. The coliving is located slightly above Lake Maggiore in the mountains, which means the temperatures remain very pleasant even in the middle of summer. The real highlight, however, is the people and the community. During both of my stays, I met incredibly kind, inspiring, and wonderful people who made the experience truly special. Cooking and sharing dinner together every evening is always one of the highlights. The rooms and coworking spaces are also excellent, and the super-fast Starlink internet makes it a perfect place to work remotely. Highly recommended! I’m already looking forward to coming back next year. ;-)
