Tucked away in Tuscany’s Mugello forest, Tertulia Coliving is a beautifully restored 18th-century hamlet that blends communal living with remote work. Offering cozy private rooms, well-equipped shared spaces, and nature-inspired workstations, all supported by a reliable 200 mbps internet connection.
Tertulia Coliving welcomes digital nomads and creative professionals into a lively, small community where sustainable practices and authentic interactions are at the heart of daily life. Community members engage in a variety of collaborative activities like shared meals and agricultural projects, while also having the freedom to work effectively in both indoor and outdoor coworking spaces.
At its essence, Tertulia is dedicated to regeneration—not just of the land and ancient buildings but also of human connections and rural communities. Emphasizing conscious resource management and offering residents a unique chance to experience the rejuvenating power of forest living, enhancing creativity and well-being.
I have in total stayed here about 2,5 months over two periods. Tertulia will always have a special place in my heart. First of all, the old house is full of charm, beauty and influence from permaculture. If you’ve ever dreamed about staying/living in Tuscany, this will give you that. I loved getting to know the nearby town, the market, waterfalls, refill prosecco shop (!), restaurants, the views and the people.
I actually didn’t have much need to get out of the coliving. I loved cooking in the spacious beautiful kitchen, connecting with the other colivers and slowing down outside.
Francesco and Georgina (and their children!!) are wonderful people and hosts. They are truely those kinds of people that we need more of in this world. They are giving, humble, know how to enjoy life, hardworking and very inspiring. Anja the community manager was also fully dedicated to the place and became a beautiful friend.
Thank you for creating such a special place! I hope to come back again.

I loved everything at Tertulia ! From the house to the views, the atmosphere, the people I met, our time together (aperitivo, meals, hikes, outings, etc.), the region of Mugello and our hosts, Francesco and Giorgia. I travelled before to Italy, but this time I truly fell in love with the place and its people.
Tertulia is a beautiful, peaceful place with stunning views surrounded by nature and rolling hills. The villa has so much history you can find in every door and around every corner. The rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable.
There’s a real understanding of co-living at Tertulia. It’s not just about working together or share amenities - there are communal dinners each night, daily activities you can join, even help out with some projects around the property if you feel like it.
Listening to Francesco and Georgia sharing their life story will be a favorite memory.
I 100% recommend Tertulia to everyone. Give it a try, you won’t regret it.
I stayed for 1 week in June and had a great experience! The property was very spacious and had incredible views of the sunset over the rolling hills. Plenty of space for alone time if you wanted and also a nice community of people. We went to a waterfall and enjoyed an aperitivo together on a Saturday which was so much fun. Great place to remote work and connect with others! Would definitely stay again (and for a longer period of time).
