3 months agoCo404 have figured out a perfect formula. Amazing volunteers, activities and community, nice rooms, reasonable price, and great location. The people it draws are incredible, and it’s so nice to be able to spend weeks with the same people who are living a similar lifestyle to you. This place is incredible and I am so grateful to have found it. And Oaxaca itself is such an incredible city - the energy, the food, the colours - I could have stayed for 6 months. The owners are fantastic, and I cannot wait to go to any and all of the new places that they open! Seriously, if you’re a digital nomad and you’re coming to Mexico, come here and then go to the San Cris location, spending at least a month in each!

2 months agoI really enjoyed staying at Co404. As an older traveler in my 50"s I was a bit hesitant to stay at a co-living space but it was the prefect way to break out of my normal travel routines of Airbnb isolation. They have created a travel family scenario where all walks of life are welcome. I was brought back to the days when I was a backpacker but it was more mature than just a straight up hostel. There is an expectation of mutual respect and tolerance since most people are working while stay there. Sometimes folk need reminding but for the most part this is true. I stayed in one of the bedrooms with an on suite bathroom. it was tastefully decorated and comfortable and the WIFI was good enough for me to stream meetings from my room. Alternately they have several call booths upstairs in the co-work space to take calls as well. I took advantage of having a kitchen that was well equipped and cooked 2 of 3 of my meals per day. The food in Oaxaca is amazing but sometimes its good to have the option to cook. Lastly, I want to talk about the staff and guests. The staff, volunteers and guests were great. the staff and volunteers really made you feel welcome and encouraged me to participate in outings and group activities. Hands down my favorite was Family Dinner where all the guests and staff eat together. There is a small donation and one of the staff members or volunteers prepares a meal for all to share. There was always a Vegetarian option too. This is a place for global travelers that share in the passion for travel and life. This is a great spot for solo travelers of all ages and couples. Thank you so much for experience Co404. Peace and love, Aaron

5 months agoThis place is M.A.G.I.C. 1000% good vibes! Beautiful decoration, always clean … I was supposed to stay one week, I couldn’t resist and kept extending extra weeks 2 times . The whole team ( volunteers, employees and owners) is lovely and the coworkers-travelers are so inspiring, coming from all over the world and backgrounds. There are plenty of activities, you will always have fun and you can even propose some. I was so inspired by the tribe, the wonderful and huuuuuuge kitchen in the rooftop that I cooked a Moroccan feast for all! It’s super well located, in the center, we can walk for almost any activity. If you are coming to Oaxaca, this is the place to be!

4 months agoI stayed and volunteered at Co404 for 7 weeks and everything about this place is 5 stars. Co404 will take you in as family no matter how long you're staying and the sense of community is just incredible. Everyone from the cleaning staff, manager, owners, and all of my fellow volunteers were top notch, so accommodating, hardworking, always planning the best events, and made staying here so much fun. I couldn't recommend staying here more, and I know I'll keep coming back! :)

3 weeks agoCo.404 is the best coliving I've experienced in 5+ years as a nomad—and I've stayed in 8 different coliving spots across 4 continents. Why do I love this place so much? They do an incredible job of cultivating community and connection, and that's why I stayed for 2.5 months. The owners and the manager are down-to-earth and involved in the community, joining and leading events. They carefully vet their volunteers (who stay in the dorms and lead events like Yoga, hikes, and game nights). All this means they attract interesting, open-minded, intelligent people who are leading unconventional lives. By making it accessible to people at various stages in life (they've got dorms, private rooms, and deluxe rooms with private bathrooms), you end up with a diverse community in terms of age, nationality, and career path. That's key (for me), because this lifestyle is all about connecting with people from around the world and expanding my horizons. The neighborhood is great, the kitchen is big with lots of a room to cook + sufficient storage space for each person. It's not swanky, nor is it trying to be—if it were, I'd pass! That said, they're constantly improving the facilities. Co.404 had everything I needed to work remotely, including a quiet shared workspace, secluded call booths, desks in the rooms, and two types of Internet (FiberOptic + Starlink) for redundancy (that's vital in Mexico).
